About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

- →The GS-12 Senior Social Worker performs duties independently and is responsible for the monitoring and coordination of services provided by community-based programs funded under The Homeless Program Office Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Program.
- →Provides information and analytical systems to evaluate and enhance the quality of services provided to patients in the Grant and Per Diem housing program.
- →Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical guidelines and protocols to establish appropriate utilization of services.
- →Complies with criminal conflict of interest laws and Executive Branch Standards to conduct to avoid conflicts of interest.
- →Member of the NCHCS Homeless Team and provide other services, such as outreach when necessary.
- →Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Subject to change to meet the needs of the Agency Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not Authorized Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Authorized: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program.

- →Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
- →Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.
