Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Finance, Financial Operations, Financial Systems Management and Oversight Division, located in Indianapolis, IN.
What You'll Do
- →This position starts at a salary of $126,947.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $165,037.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

- →Typical duties include: Serve as a team leader for planning and oversight of a team, task force, or work group under the direction of one of the branch supervisors.
- →Provide authoritative senior technical leadership, specialized financial systems knowledge and central focus, on a CBP-wide basis, to enhance SAP program management, financial and process controls, and the functionality for the assigned process or function.
- →Serves as the senior financial system process/functional expert and the Office of Finance principal point of contact on all matters relating to the design, management, operation and improvement of a primary functional component of the SAP ERP system or other financial or mixed-financial systems.
- →Develops SAP or other financial or mixed financial systems for assigned process/functional area(s), so that the system(s) meet all accounting process and internal controls where applicable, ensuring CBP's continued clean audit opinion.
- →Plans, directs and controls periodic upgrades/functionality enhancements to address expanded and evolving requirements.
