This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel, Legal Division, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and may provide support to the General Counsel or a Deputy General Counsel by performing a variety of administrative and analytical duties that are essential for effective and efficient operations. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill similar vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.
What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level, major duties include: Partners effectively with the Executive Assistant to the Chairman to ensure the proper, smooth, and efficient operation of the Office of General Counsel.
- →Oversees the daily operation and function of the Office of the General Counsel.
- →Prepares letters, correspondence, memoranda, or reports that may include matters of a confidential or sensitive nature.
- →Serves as liaison with officials of other federal agencies, private organizations, banking officials, members of the public, officers of organizations and others inquiring primarily about the Legal Division's legal and operational matters.
- →Serves as the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsels' primary gatekeeper and scheduler for internal and external appointments, meetings, conferences, presentations, and speeches.
- →Makes domestic and international travel arrangements for the General Counsel using the latest office travel planning software and Internet travel tools; and coordinates as necessary with the Division of Finance travel staff.
- →Serves as timekeeper and performs time and attendance input, generates required reports, and performs leave audits as necessary.
