This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Division of Emergency Preparedness and Responses. The supervisor is Cindy Rosales-Cooper. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
What You'll Do
- →The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Emergency Preparedness (EP) Specialist duties.
- →Such duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for leading, writing, reviewing, and managing the development of emergency preparedness program policies, rules, initiatives, requirements, guidance, and related activities.
- →Leads efforts with domestic stakeholders and foreign counterparts associated with NRC EP policies, regulations, oversight and licensing, including complex and controversial issues.
- →Leads others and conducts reviews and evaluations of nuclear power reactor emergency plans using regulations, guidance documents, Commission policies, management directives, and procedures.
