About the Role

This position as a Senior Advisor reports to the Assistant Director Human Resources and Professional Development.

What You'll Do

  • The major duties of the Senior Advisor position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides administrative direction in terms of broadly-defined mission, project objectives, scope of work, priorities and schedules.
  • Manage the mass recruitment and timely hiring of ATF Special Agent applicants in commensurate with Presidential Directives.
  • Develop new policies, procedures and guidelines; research alternative solutions; and develop new courses of action.
  • Provides program oversight requiring exceptional coordination and integration of a number of critical and complex program segments of administrative, budgetary, and logistical/technical support work.
  • Analyzes gaps in current ATF Criminal Investigator training that is not present in current ATF National Academy curriculum or offered by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center training program

  • You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.
