You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF, G1 of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will assist managers and senior specialists in reviewing and evaluating new, revised, or proposed security instructions, guidelines, opinions, and decisions for impact on the organization's practices.
- →You will make recommendations for, and assists in the development of new instructions, guides, and amplifying information for the organization.
- →You will assist in designing and conducting IT system security tests and audits in support of efforts to assess the security of the organization's computer systems.
- →You will assist with the classification and declassification of materials and information.
- →You will maintain the accountability records for all COMSEC materials and equipment in the Center account.
- →You will conduct personnel security interviews; and forwards the investigation information to the proper investigative authority, You will processe and adjudicate personnel security investigations for sensitive positions using prescribed standards and procedures.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
