The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief, Minot Air Force Base, Special Security Office; Chief 5th Operations Group Security/PRP office; Chief 5th Bomb Wing Nuclear Command and Control Extremely Sensitive Information, (NC2-ESI).
What You'll Do
- →DUTY 1 - Administers and implements the Nuclear Command and Control Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI) program.
- →Ensures required program management responsibilities and actions are completed in accordance with governing CJCSIs, AFIs, and DoD directives.
- →DUTY 2 - Executes and enforces compliance with the organization personnel security program.
- →Interprets AF, DoD, and national regulations and laws for Personnel Security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization.
- →DUTY 3 - Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues.
- →Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions in order to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance.
- →Maintains detailed records on all supported industrial security activities.
- →DUTY 4 - Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization.
- →Uses comprehensive knowledge of the integrated organization's mission to advise commanders and or involved parties on security facilities/equipment/alarm installation, maintenance, and use.
- →DUTY 5 - Serves as security program specialist executing and enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an integrated information security program.
- →Enforces operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program for the Information Security Programs.
