About the Role
About the Position: This position is located in Wiesbaden Middle School is part of Wiesbaden Community Schools in Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA), Europe Central District. Wiesbaden MS serves military connected students in grades 6-8, Germany. Federal employees in Wiesbaden, Germany may be entitled to receive a 42% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. (% is subject to change)
What You'll Do
- →Review outgoing correspondence for technical accuracy.
- →(Format, grammar, accuracy, conformance to office policy, completeness, coherence and consistency.
- →Use automated software to develop correspondence.
- →Manage office communication by composing letters, inter-office memos, and/or faxes.
- →Manage incoming correspondence for proper distribution.
- →Organize information to compile reports for the office.
- →Facilitate timely responses to meet deadlines or suspense dates.
- →Organize filing systems to ensure proper storage of office documents.
- →Maintain suspense records on correspondence and follow up to ensure timely response.
- →Provide information and guidance on school procedures, reports, and requirements, as well as school programs, polices, procedures, and activities.
- →Review inquiry responses to ensure responses are within policy guidelines and procedures.
- →Coordinate meetings or briefings to ensure all participants are provided the agenda, background material, or other necessary information.
- →Processes timecards and personnel/position actions for all assigned staff.
- →Receive callers or visitors to direct inquiries to staff members
