About the Role
This position is located within the Facilities Management Service (FMS) at Orlando VA Health Care System (OVAHCS) Department of Veterans Affairs, in Orlando, FL. The incumbent serves as the principal administrative and clerical support for the FMS leadership team, ensuring efficient coordination of office functions, communication, and workflow. The position supports the mission of the VA by facilitating administrative operations that directly impact the care and services provided to Veterans.
What You'll Do
- →Performs the following duties as assigned: Prepares correspondence, reports, memos, emails, and reviewing it for punctuation and accuracy.
- →Produces written information to communicate ideas messages etc., in an organized manner to better serve customers, staff, vendors, contractors etc.
- →Monitors work orders preventive maintenances control databases and work schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
- →Prepares justifications and requests for recruitments, budgets, purchasing, procurement, and management or operational program analysis.
- →Other duties as assigned.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: 7:30a.m. - 4:00p.m.
- →Negotiable Telework: ADHOC approved within current agency allowances.
