About the Position: Humphreys Central Elementary School is part of the Pacific West District of the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). This school serves students PK to grade 4. Federal employees in Camp Humphreys, Korea are currently entitled to receive a 15% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This percentage is subject to change. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA).
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of school administrative support functions, such as student registration, student attendance, academic records maintenance, tuition status, and other related processes.
- →Enter, retrieve, and/or manipulate data in the student information management system.
- →Assemble and distribute to families student registration packets including a student schedule and hand book, regulations, a health record form, and other forms that might be required.
- →Responsible for completing new student registration.
- →Enter grades, attendance, tuition, and transfer information to update students' data files.
- →Work in coordination with the administration to construct in the student information management system a viable school master schedule for teachers.
- →Implement data collection techniques for collecting and electronically transferring student grades.
- →Prepare reports for school administration and other personnel from the student information management system database and disseminated to the correct personnel in a timely manner.
- →Prepare a variety of letters, messages, memoranda, reports, charts, school bulletins, and other correspondence using typing and automated word processing equipment and other various software programs.
