About the Role
The Marion VA Medical Center Behavior Health Service line is seeking an RN to serve in the role of RN Care Manager for the Behavioral Health Services. The Registered Nurse in this position provides health care services and care management to high-risk patients with in the Outpatient Services.
What You'll Do
- →The RN is accountable for meeting and maintaining the qualification standards and functional statements of assigned grade.
- →Our facility is seeking an individual who possess good organizational skills which enable completion of work, demonstrated ability to assume leadership in a patient centered program and the ability to establish effective communication with patients, families, visitors and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- →He/she assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care needs assuring quality of care.
- →The incumbent may be required to rotate tours and duties during low/high census or complete administrative tasks established by the immediate supervisor.
- →Not all duties may be listed, so other duties may be assigned.
- →No weekends/holidays.
- →Telework: ???????Ad hoc teleworking in emergency situations as defined by the VA Emergency Management System Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
