What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Marine Mart Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily store operations for a location with annual sales of less than $10M.
- →Provides leadership, direction, and accountability to the store leadership team to ensure operational excellence, achievement of sales and business goals, and delivery of a positive customer experience.
- →Leads by example and fosters a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused environment that reflects the mission, values, and culture of the Marine Corps Exchange.
- →Develops and coaches store leadership teams to deliver a consistent Dress Blue Experience and execute corporate programs, promotions, merchandise resets, and operational initiatives.
- →Reviews sales performance, financial reports, business analytics, and key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.
- →Develops and implements action plans and performance goals to address deficiencies, improve productivity, and achieve desired business results.
- →Drives weekly and monthly sales goals and communicates sales, inventory, and operational opportunities to MCX headquarters.
- →Ensures effective execution of merchandising, inventory, logistics, backroom, and store standards.
- →Develops staffing schedules based on business needs, sales demand, and available resources.
- →Monitors management staffing levels and supports the recruitment, selection, development, and retention of qualified employees.
- →Plans and executes corporate initiatives by establishing implementation plans, milestones, and accountability measures.
- →Ensures store leadership follows through on assigned responsibilities and maintains compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- →Utilizes business systems, management information tools, and analytics to support informed decision-making and strengthen accountability throughout the store leadership team.
- →Supervises employees by assigning and distributing work; providing coaching, counseling, mentoring, and training; approving leave; completing performance reviews; signing timecards; and recommending or completing personnel actions.
