About the Role
About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation This position is located as Fort Carson, Colorado A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Assess patient cardiopulmonary status based on physical exam, pulmonary function results and laboratory data.
- →Interpret blood gas and pulmonary function results on test technical accuracy and logic.
- →Organizes and carriy out asthma education for asthmatics including asthma teaching, inhaler/nebulizer instruction, and review of written asthma instructions with the family and patient.
- →Perform all routine technical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- →Regularly set up and monitor complex respiratory therapy equipment such as volume and pressure ventilators.
- →Maintain department areas and equipment including packaging equipment for sterilization and disinfecting when appropriate.
