About the Role
Demonstrates proficiency in practice based on conscious and deliberate planning. Self-directed in goal setting for managing complex client situations. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influences outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- →Provide competent, evidence-based care to patients with oversight of license vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate to the setting.
- →Assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation , competencies and providing quality improvement and enhance outcomes utilization.
- →Integrate knowledge, skills, abilities and judgment and is self-directed in goal setting for managing complex situations for varying areas of nursing.
- →Demonstrates the ability to cope with and manage competing priorities.
- →Demonstrates competence in practice and decision-making, deliberate planning, and critical thinking skills for all patient care areas included within Resource Team assignments.
- →Participate within unit based and/or organizational level Shared Governance councils, utilizing clinical expertise, evidence-based practice, and knowledge to assist with finding solutions to problems.
- →Validates understanding of the rationale for processes and decisions.
- →Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence-based care.
- →Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized Preferred experience: BSN preferred.
- →BLS/ACLS preferred.
- →Must float all areas of nursing. 3-4 years of recent medical-surgical, telemetry, ER or ICU experience.
- →This is not a novice position.
- →Flexible schedules of 8 hours shifts with weekend rotation (nights).
Requirements
