About the Role
About the Position: Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC), 9300 DeWitt Loop, Ft. Belvoir, VA 22060. Medical Library, Sunrise Pavilion, Rm. S1.902b. Office hours: 0730-1600 (M-F). This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Participates in staff development, in-service and professional continuing education programs.
- →Participates with the Principal Investigator in the scientific design of research protocols and makes recommendation on methodology.
- →Evaluates research protocols for compliance with applicable regulations governing human subject's protection.
- →Assures the proper documentation of project/study, giving particular attention to any protocol modifications.
- →Coordinates with investigators and other designees to ensure Institutional Review Board (IRB) stipulations are appropriately addressed in a timely manner by providing expert knowledge and advice regarding regulatory requirements.
- →Serves as a resource for and consultant to Principal Investigators, research coordinators, and other Research Review Service staff, as necessary.
