About the Role
Please note, there is no pay associated with this position. This position serves as a Without Compensation Research Data Scientist within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden.
What You'll Do
- →Perform quantitative analysis of electronic health record (EHR) and survey datasets specific to VA patient populations to support reporting, program evaluation, and scientific publication.
- →Develop and implement Large Language Model (LLM) methodologies to conduct qualitative analysis.
- →Prepare, write, and review scientific manuscripts, ensuring methodological rigor and alignment with publication standards for peer-reviewed research.
- →Work Schedule: Full time; Monday - Friday; 8:00am- 4:30pm (Without compensation) Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
