Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
What You'll Do
- →Supports the Chaplains, volunteers, and religious programming of all faiths in the institution or the Life Connections unit.
- →Maintains the records, ecclesiastical documents, materials, and other references for the institution's religious groups or Life Connections Program.
- →Assist in the preparation of devotional and religious educational materials and audio-visual displays.
- →Work with the chaplaincy or Life Connections team to determine, develop, manage and maintain the logistical support requirements of the religious program.
- →Helps supervise day-to-day inmate activities, programs, security, and provides administration of the inmate pass system in the religious program area.
- →Performs clerical duties to include, typing, filing, proofreading, time and attendance, recording and transcribing meeting minutes as well as serves on the planning committees.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
