This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), within the Directorate of Standards and Guidance (DSG), located in Washington, DC. This position is at the full performance level. This position is inside the bargaining unit. This position is NOT remote. Selectee will be expected to report to the office above.
What You'll Do
- →Duties of the Regulatory Specialist position include, but are not limited to, the following: Serving as a team member on health standards development projects providing information and assistance on the Paperwork Reduction Act.
- →Participating in the preparation of the annual Information Collection Budget, taking a leading role in developing and managing a plan to reduce and minimize record keeping and reporting burdens.
- →Reviewing the background, requirements, and regulatory impacts of OSHA health and safety standards and utilizing the information to develop information collection and paperwork packages.
- →Advising senior level staff of potential problems during the approval process that may impact required Paperwork Reduction Act timeframes.
- →Planning and managing a regulatory paperwork schedule involving competing and changing priorities.
