What You'll Do
- →Directly responsible for the collection and processing of all mandatory recyclable materials and making periodic surveys of all areas on the institution to ensure compliance with the recycling policy.
- →Responsible for the proper storage and disposal of the institution's waste stream to include solid waste and other recoverable special wastes.
- →Responsible for researching and identifying possible pollution prevention projects.
- →Provides inmates with training in all areas of recycling administration procedures and rates the performance of all inmates through preparation of performance evaluations.
- →Supervises and trains inmates in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment such as the bailer, tractor, and forklift.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
