The position safeguards that all medical staff are working within both internal and external policy. Credentialing functions include, but are not limited to, assisting with processing Credentialing Applications, performing primary source verification, updating and maintaining the credentialing database. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Coordinates the Medical Staff credentialing process and works professionally and independently with all entities to ensure a reliable and organized credentialing process for the medical staff.
- →Represents Supervisor in dealings with internal and external agencies as appropriate including interaction and networking with representatives and executives from other hospital organizations within the federal and private sectors.
- →Works with the computerized credentialing software system for the overall medical staff credentialing.
- →Provides technical and managerial assistance to the Chief Medical Officer in preparation for presentations regarding credentialing and clinical privileges.
Requirements
