About the Role
This position is located at Fort Stewart Pools, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Assist with the operation of the pool, oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies.
- →Assists with scheduling of employees.
- →Assists with the operation of the pool, its filtration system, water balance, pool chemistry and performs water tests.
- →Under direction of the pool supervisor, employ safety rules for the protection of the guest.
- →Responsible for life guarding guest in attendance at the assigned aquatic facility.
- →Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
- →Attend aquatica and/or safety training as directed.
- →Responsible for assisting the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to APT 7-22.01 as of October 2020.
- →Ensures maintaining pool and area is clean and free from hazards.
- →Issues towels and checks identification as required.
- →Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
- →Maintains daily logs and records as required.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
