What You'll Do
- →Serves as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing bartender work.
- →Provides leadership, guidance and training to subordinate bartenders.
- →Work is performed without close supervision.
- →Responsible for overall operation of the bar.
- →Implements industry best practices and develops a standardized training program for subordinate bartenders.
- →Follows and teaches standard procedures of full service bars, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- →Recommends to management changes to bar procedures, drink lists, and liquor selections.
- →Communicates well with outside vendors and distributors.
- →Ensures bar areas are clean and tidy, and implements opening and closing procedures.
- →Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
- →Ensures accurate count of all beverages and ensures items are utilized properly without waste.
- →Recognizes intoxicated and unruly patrons and takes necessary remedial action.
- →Uses tack and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated.
