About the Role
This position is located on the Island of Oahu at Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Waianae, HI. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. What You'll Do
- →As head lifeguard, oversees the accomplishment of work and evaluates waterfront operation efficiencies.
- →Assist manager by insuring adequate staffing of operations with personnel and the safety of users.
- →Directs lifeguards as required in the performance of their duties.
- →Performs checks and makes adjustments in water quality levels and ensures that the pump rooms are maintained and operational.
- →As head lifeguard, supports the management team in decision making and responding to concerns of guests and users.
- →As lifeguard, responsible for the life guarding of guests at the waterfront.
- →Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
- →Coordinates and conducts in-service and water survival training according to ATP 7-22.01 as of October 2020.
- →Attends and or arranges for the conduct of aquatics and ocean front safety training.
- →Maintains peak physical condition.
- →Maintains daily logs and records as required.
- →Carries out work in accordance with policies, regulations, directives, and requirements.
- →Exercises judgment on routine matters where discretion is permitted.
