This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Program. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. This job announcement is an open/ continuous announcement intended to fill multiple vacancies as they come available. Applicants will be reviewed on a weekly basis and eligible applicants will be referred to the hiring official for consideration at that time.
What You'll Do
- →This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard.
- →Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detailed guidance provided.
- →Must participate in all required training (emergency rescue drills, emergency action plan simulations).
- →Mandatory certifications must be complete within 30 calendar days of employment.
- →Upon completion of mandatory certifications, the incumbent will be non-competitively reassigned to Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), PD #3206, responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance at an assigned aquatic facility.
