About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Striker's Bowling Center on Holloman AFB, NM. This is a flexible position (0 Guaranteed Hours). Work schedule is Monday through Saturday, days and evenings. Military Spouse preference is not lost if selected for this position.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of the bowling center.
- →The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Operate the control desk which includes the assignment of bowling lanes and the sales/rental of bowling accessories.
- →Collects bowling fees, shoe rental and locker fees; collects cash from sale of merchandise; records transactions and completes the cashier report at the end of the shift.
- →May sell alcoholic drinks from the front counter when needed.
- →Provides information/instructions to customers regarding the use of facility and general conduct.
- →Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers questions about event.
- →Performs general housekeeping duties to include but not limited to: picking up trash from counters/tables, wiping down counters/tables, as needed; sweeping/mopping floors, and taking trash to dumpster area.
- →Returns all bowling equipment to its original location.
- →Secures the facility at closing following established procedures.
- →Completes daily checklists and logs; notes special incidents for supervisor's attention.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
