What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: As Range Manager/ Lead Contracting Officer Representative (COR), evaluates and conducts studies on the effectiveness and efficiency of the day-to-day Electronic Combat Range (ECR) activities and performs the Government's duties and responsibilities in operating the Electronic Combat portion of the Snyder Electronic Scoring Site (ESS).
- →Monitors and evaluates the quality of services rendered by the contractor when performing operations, maintenance and support of the Snyder Electronic Combat function.
- →This position also supervises one government COR and serves as the lead Quality Assurance Evaluator for Snyder ESS.
- →DUTIES Analyzes mission goals, objectives, and requirements, and develops multi-year future plans, policies, and procedures for operating and modernizing Snyder ESS and its geographically separated sites.
- →Participates in research, tests, and evaluation of systems, software, and equipment to determine new ESS capabilities\or effect of modifications to existing range systems.
- →Conducts technical inspections/evaluations to provide an overall view of the quality of operations, system maintenance being performed, and support of government equipment.
- →Oversees and participates in the development of the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and periodically ensures its accuracy.
- →Oversees and periodically reviews the Range Contract(s), and prepares listing of contractual requirements as part of comprehensive Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
- →Manages the government's Quality Assurance (QA) program to ensure compliance with the approved Range Performance Work Statement(s).
- →Supervises one subordinate.
- →Provides technical guidance and assistance, training, and administrative supervision.
