About the Position: Fort Stewart is the largest Department of Defense installation east of the Mississippi River, covering approximately 280,000 acres across five Georgia counties. Located near Hinesville, Georgia, it serves as a premier power projection platform for the U.S. Army.
What You'll Do
- →Install, operate, maintain, repair, and sustain in an operational status, a variety of target systems and components of systems.
- →Operate computer-controlled target systems console and execute scenario sequences for operations.
- →Operate and perform maintenance (to include operator level troubleshooting and making authorized repair/ replacements) on AC/DC powered target devices.
- →Conduct operator level maintenance on Stationary Infantry Targets, Moving Infantry Targets, Stationary Armor Targets, and Moving Armor Targets.
- →Operate and maintain vehicle(s) assigned to the organization.
- →Cut grass, clean target pits, reshape target berms, service batteries, service target devices, and remove debris from training ranges.
- →Perform basic carpentry work as required.
- →Perform inspecting, cleaning, servicing, preserving, lubricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, testing duties; and making authorized repair/ replacements.
