About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for day-to-day functional operation of the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) equipment.
- →Manage the PACS equipment inventory, network resources, configurations of workstations and the related digital imaging modalities and peripherals.
- →Manage all/any application associated with PACS (Peer Review/Dictation System/Terarecon/Radmetrics).
- →Schedule network backups and assign resources.
- →Resolve network-related issues.
- →Prepare and conduct training classes for subspecialty clinicians on advanced imaging applications such as Ortho-Tools, and Advanced Visualization 3D Imaging.
- →Provide reports as needed by reviewing, analyzing, validating, and processing capability request documents for clinical systems that need to integrate into the tele radiology workflow solution.
