The primary purpose of this position is to provide publications, policy memorandums (PMs), and IMT/Forms management analyst support to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), its five Components, and its seven globally aligned Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs).
What You'll Do
- →Directs, Plans, and Organizes the activities of the Command Publications and Forms Management Programs for the 70,000 person Special Operations Enterprise (HQ USSOCOM, SOF Components and TSOCs).
- →Develops, analyzes and disseminates command procedures for preparation of electronic publications.
- →Manages archived electronic files of Portable Document Format (PDF) USSOCOM publications.
- →Finalizes approved publications by completing the 5 step Functional and Electronic Publication Distribution Process.
- →Actively represents USSOCOM Publications and Forms Management Branch at a variety of command and functional area organizations.
- →As USSOCOM Publications Manager, provides Field Grade equivalent representation of the organization on working groups, steering groups, seminars, conferences, etc.
- →Develops, analyzes, evaluates, designs, writes policy, and approves HQ USSOCOM Forms.
- →Conducts work measurement, methods and procedures, time standards, and/or benchmarking studies of publications/forms work processes.
- →Gathers, interprets, analyzes, and correlates large amounts of narrative, flowcharts, and statistical information about workload and productivity.
