This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM). As a Public Health Analyst, GS-0685-13, you will serve as an analyst, evaluating complex public health programs and policies, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to leadership, and supporting improvements to public health operations, products, services, and programs.
What You'll Do
- →Designing and conducting program needs assessments to develop project or program plans for improvements of public health program goals, objectives, and policies.
- →Serving as an expert analyst in developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating current or projected complex, interrelated public health programs involving governmental and non-governmental organizations.
- →Recommending effective operations consistent with program objectives.
- →Collecting and compiling qualitative and quantitative information to serve as data for program discussions.
