You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the COMMUNICATION STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for conducting public affairs functions for the organization, ensuring public affairs activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
- →You will be responsible for managing and executing the strategic communication plans, talking points, command messages and leading, as required, various cross-functional and joint communications teams tasked to directly support the command.
- →You will be responsible for serving as the social media manager and webmaster.
- →You will be responsible for representing the organization regarding assigned portion of the communications program with a variety of councils, boards, working groups, and panels inside and outside of the command.
- →You will be responsible for responding to information requests on assigned programs from the news media, special groups, and/or public; local, state, and federal elected officials; special interest groups, community, and civic organizations.
- →You will be responsible for performing special assignments and participating in special projects and initiatives.
