About the Position: This position is located in the Director for Mental Health, Department of Mental Health Acute and Outpatient Services Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Bethesda, MD. Hours of operation: Monday- Friday 0730 - 1600 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Interview patients requesting mental health treatment.
- →Schedule, modify, and cancel appointments via automated systems.
- →Maintain daily appointment schedules.
- →Provide in-person and telephone crisis counseling.
- →Assist credentialed providers in identifying mental health diagnoses.
- →Coordinate and conduct suicide prevention briefings and training.
