About the Position: Serve as a Life-Cycle Project Manager, with overall responsibility for planning, scope, development, design, construction and direction of important International Interagency Service (IIS), Fuels, and/or Rapid Response projects.
What You'll Do
- →Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
- →Allocate project funds to District elements, consistent with progress attained, and measure and monitor performance to assure that commitments of all parties are being maintained.
- →Review and analyze cost reports to assure charges are all authorized and appropriate; identify unauthorized charges and assure corrective actions are taken for the ultimate disposition of inappropriate charges.
- →Monitor progress, measure performance and take necessary corrective action to maintain agreed-upon schedule and cost.
- →Coordinate planning, design, cost-engineering, construction and environmental restoration, etc., for engineering or planning projects of substantial scope and complexity.
- →Assure the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects.
- →As the project team leader, implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations and policies in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.
