THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST, Position Description Number T0043000 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST, GS-0301-11, you will analyze, coordinate and/or perform a variety of special projects/program assignments and studies which lead to resolution of management problems and improvement of operations.
- →Independently develop a plan of action, recommends solutions.
- →Coordinate with State ARNG/ ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders and, NGB Functional Managers to obtain and exchange information and develop recommendations for management decisions.
- →Monitor and analyze program/project progress, recommending changes based on findings as needed.
- →Develop all reports, briefings, and status of assigned projects/programs.
- →Perform a wide variety of support duties to facilitate the work of the office.
- →Arrange scheduling of appointments, meetings, briefings, and other commitments that have a directly effecting on future decisions and program direction.
- →Other duties as assigned.
- →Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK" Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5 day workweek, then a 4 day workweek ( 8 nine-hour days and 1 eight-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80 hour pay period.
- →Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.
Requirements
- ✓Education is NOT a requirement, but may be substituted for some Specialized experience with the following degree/degree levels for GS 11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
