THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is for a Project Coordination Specialist, Position Description Number T0043000, and is part of the MT Air National Guard, BTO. What You'll Do
- →Analyzes, coordinates and/or performs a variety of special projects/program assignments and studies which lead to resolution of management problems and improvement of operations.
- →Independently develops a plan of action, recommends solutions.
- →Coordinates with State ARNG/ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders and, NGB Functional Managers to obtain and exchange information and develop recommendations for management decisions.
- →Monitors and analyzes program/project progress, recommending changes based on findings as needed.
- →Develops all reports, briefings, and status of assigned projects/programs.
- →Performs a wide variety of support duties to facilitate the work of the office.
- →Arranges scheduling of appointments, meetings, briefings, and other commitments that have a directly effecting on future decisions and program direction.
- →Provides management information, advice, and assistance to the State ARNG/ANG Command staff, Directorates or Group Commanders on programs/projects assigned.
- →The incumbent researches current Law, DoD, Department of the Army (DA), Department of the Air Force (DAF), NGB, and State policy, and uses judgment to decide appropriate policy and procedures in relation to current projects, taskings, issues and concerns.
- →Analyzes information and data; assesses progress of programs, projects, and processes.
- →Organizes, manages, and presents information to include recommendations both formally and informally via oral and written means.
- →Uses knowledge of graphics software to prepare charts and graphs, database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, sort, research, calculate and retrieve data.
- →Serves as a Project Manager for emerging projects assigned to/by the State.
- →Responsible for establishing project teams, managing budget requirements throughout project life-cycle, leads team in identification of goals and objectives, stakeholders, tasks, associated risks, and milestones.
