You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Quality Assurance Office, Code 130, Laboratory Division, Code 134, of PSNS and IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will prepare and maintain ownership of instructions, operating policies, procedures, guidelines, and training for assigned laboratory programs.
- →You will design reports for tracking and control of laboratory programs and analyze trends and problems in the flow of work, offering potential resolutions and improvements.
- →You will serve as the laboratory's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) independently managing service and maintenance contracts and monitoring project tasks and timelines.
- →You will provide direction, training, assistance and oversight to lower grade laboratory personnel in inventory tracking and procurement of supplies and major equipment.
- →You will serve as the laboratory's subject matter expert (SME) for all administrative processes, records, training, materials and equipment procurement, IT, and facility issues.
- →You will network with various internal and external contacts to exchange information, consult, and develop strategies and analyze program results.
- →You will participate in meetings or presentations to influence managers at higher pay grades to accept and implement findings and recommendations on organizational improvements or program effectiveness.
