The purpose of the position is to serve as a Program Assistant (PSA), also known as an enrollment and eligibility advisor in HAS. The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of assignments and provides administrative support to the Section, and the cost recovery aspects of this position have a direct impact on the reimbursement of the facility.
What You'll Do
- →Duties to include but not limited to: Collect and enter Data into computerized system.
- →Greet and refer visitors, patients/veterans and other staff.
- →Process incoming forms, records, or other documents.
- →Work independently without specific instruction.
- →Carry out routine assignments independently.
- →Incumbent reviews and cancels necessary appointments and sends notifications to providers so consults can be reviewed and medication refills can be cancelled Incumbent has knowledge of all computer menus and applications relating to processing death certificates and determining legal entitlement of veterans to benefits.

- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary position, but the work requires some walking, bending, stooping and carrying of light objects such as manuals, documents, etc.
- ✓Concentration and sustained performance under prolonged stress is required because of the time factors involved in completion of work assignments within deadlines.
