About the Role

The PSA is responsible for the coordination, planning, and implementation of various administrative management duties and clinical service support in a complex, multi-specialty setting. The PSA works closely with the Supervisory Health Systems Specialist (HSS)in program development and management as well as program analysis. The PSA is responsible for resolving a variety of problems and inquiries received in person, electronically, by telephone, or by referral, within or outside the organization

What You'll Do

  • Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of an organization's program operation.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and assistance to managers and timekeepers as needed and performs timekeeper functions.
  • Working with logistics to order supplies needed for the service line.
  • Reviews documents, reports, and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
  • Performs duties of Personal Identification Verification (PIV) sponsor.
  • Receives, disseminate, and follow through on tracking and completion of PATS-R cases sent from the Patient Advocate office to the Mental Health Service Line.
  • Responsible for the submission of travel requests as needed by staff.
  • Ensuring proper documentation is received and submitted to the travel office for completion.
  • Maintains inventory and tracking of government vehicles that are in various service line sections, while working with the facility fleet management.

  • Entering service line work order requests that are sent to the facility's corresponding departments and ensuring completion of each work order.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: May be authorized Telework: This position may be authorized for Ad-Hoc telework.
