Provides program management support to the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Division. This position supports case managers assigned to supervise and assist participants of the VR&E program, which is governed by Chapter 31, Title 38, United States Code. Assistance is required in all phases of the VR&E Division. Independent decisions to determine an appropriate course of action within the provisions of the VR&E Division are required.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: Assisting in the establishment of VR&E claims, to include but not limited to application processing; checking for dual usage to assist with eligibility processing; scheduling appointments and sending appointment notifications; and completing Generated Eligibility Determination (GED) processing.
- →Responding to inquiries from claimants.
- →Inputting data timely and accurately and keeping VR&E supervisory personnel informed of any problems.
- →Monitoring incoming mail via the Centralized Mail Portal (CMP).
- →Miscellaneous Program Related Tasks.
- →Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, core hours to be determined by hiring office.
