You will be assigned to the Support Services Division, this position is to implement and administer a Translations Program to expedite essential exchange of information when the two parties involved speak different languages. The incumbent is responsible for the planning, implementing and administrating the program and related budget. This includes serving as the Contracting Officer Representative for translations and other small contracts.
What You'll Do
- →Manages the funds of the translations contract budget.
- →Ensures compliance with VA, VBA and local directives on requisitions for printing, reproduction and distribution of forms.
- →Provides input in the planning and recommendations for procedural improvements in all administrative functional areas.
- →Serves as the Subject Matter Expert on all fleet management issues, oversees the day-to-day functions of the Fleet Management Program.
- →Collects data and submits reports as required to VA, GSA and other offices in timely manner.
- →Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the program, coordination of requests and appropriate follow-up actions.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →The grade progression for this position is GS-09/11.
- →Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday Compressed/Flexible: As determined by the hiring office: Hours to be determined by hiring office.
