The primary purpose of this position is to perform various duties that support the administration of grants and cooperative agreements, including developing and coordinating materials related to grant program design and administration, providing applicant support during open solicitations, and serving as the initial customer service representative for awardees seeking assistance with award acceptance, financial reporting, navigating the award management system, and award closeout.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a GS-Program Specialist 0301-9/11 include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform tasks to support the administration of cooperative agreements and grants.
- →Support a variety of divisional policy and program activities related to mission, goal, and performance measure identification and tracking.
- →Address problems of a procedural nature in performing routine tasks.
- →Provide recommendations of a factual nature regarding well-precedented issues related to grants administration and management.
- →Monitors grants that are limited in scope to ensure deliverable requirements are met.

- ✓Department of Education, in order for it to be creditable towards your qualifications.

- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program.
- ✓It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
- ✓For special instructions pertaining to foreign education and a list of organizations that can evaluate foreign education, see the Department of Education website.
- ✓If you are qualifying on foreign education, you MUST submit proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency.
- ✓All documentation must be in English or include an English translation.
