About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Support meetings of the MTF Institutional Review Board (IRB) which serves as the HIPAA Privacy Board for research in accordance with the Privacy Act.
- →Evaluate HIPAA related items prior to the IRB/Privacy Board meeting upon request.
- →Perform audits of research protocols for compliance to HIPAA and other human subjects protection regulatory requirements.
- →Modify quality compliance audit process based on changes in OHRP regulations, COHRP, DHA and MTF policies.
- →Conduct educational presentations on the HIPAA and human research subjects research requirements based on current federal research regulations and HIPAA laws on a regular basis.
- →Review presentations to ensure compliance with IRB/Privacy Board approved human research studies.
