This position is located in the Office of Deployment for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM IO), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as a Senior Deployment Specialist. This position will be physically located in a VA owned or leased office/space and require up to 75% official travel.
What You'll Do
- →MAJOR DUTIES include but are not limited to: Addresses complex issues related to the implementation and deployment of the new EHR system on behalf of the Deployment Leadership.
- →Coordinates local site deployment teams involved in the EHR solution deployment activities at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) implementation offices.
- →Oversees the project from the initial scope assessments all the way to roll out and monitoring.
- →Liaises between different department stakeholders and executive leadership to best align projects with overall business objectives.
- →Participates in cross organizational and interagency collaboration regarding deployment functions and coordinates input and assistance from numerous subject matter experts.
- →Monitors systems roll out and create reports detailing insights and potential improvements for future initiatives.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Available at the Manager's Discretion Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
