About the Role

The incumbent serves as a Program Specialist within the Office of Business and Mission Services, Finance and Budget Division (AXM-100).

What You'll Do

  • The incumbent serves as a Program Specialist within the Office of Business and Mission Services, Finance and Budget Division (AXM-100).
  • Incumbent is a recognized subject matter expert responsible for highly complex and challenging activities providing operational, administrative and business services to support ASH business functions and mission.
  • Recommends corrective actions and inspect and accept contract deliverables.
  • As the COR, oversees contract re-competes and new contract set-ups.
  • Manages all aspects of pre-award and post-award acquisition management services.
  • Prepares documents, justifications, and briefing packages required to obtain approvals for all ASH procurements including, but not limited to, those items required by with the FAA Acquisition Management System, ACQ, AFN and/or ABA.
  • Works with contracting officer, AGC, and/or technical evaluation team as needed.
  • Make purchases using FAA purchase card to support AXM-100 and other ASH program offices as required by approving official.
  • Coordinates assessments or evaluations of ASH business functions periodically to meet ASH mission requirements.
  • Informs the Division Manager of overall progress and unusual or potentially controversial issues; and proposed approaches to address and resolve those issues.
  • Work performance is reviewed periodically through status reports and performance measures.
  • Work typically impacts directly on the objectives of one or more organizational units, major subdivision, and/or LOB¿s/SO¿s and often impact on the objectives of the FAA.
  • Incumbent is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.
  • Contacts are both internal and external.
