About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Program Manager responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of major projects. In this role, the incumbent actively directs a diverse portfolio of programs, projects, and innovative acquisition strategies from inception through completion.
What You'll Do
- →Integrate all district functions, stakeholder needs, regulatory requirements, and other agencies’ commitments in support of assigned projects into a comprehensive management plan.
- →Formulate, develop, and execute comprehensive Project Management Plans (PMP) and Program Management Plans (PgMP).
- →Coordinate study, planning, design, cost engineering, and construction activities for projects of considerable scope and complexity, often complicated by diverse stakeholder interests, technical intricacies, and special acquisition strategies.
- →Provide expert input for the continuous improvement of process and refinement of best practices for district-wide programs.
- →Seek out, consolidate, and analyze disparate information from multiple sources to provide cohesive, actionable intelligence for HQ, regional, and district leadership.
- →Manage project milestones and budget throughout the project or program lifecycle.
- →Analyze cost reports, identify and correct unauthorized charges, and take corrective actions to maintain agreed-upon schedule and cost.
- →As the designated point of contact, represent the District Commander in communications with stakeholders, including Federal, state, and local agencies, Congressional interests, and Partner Nation representatives.
- →Lead the negotiation of all required stakeholder agreements.
- →Provide trend analyses, status updates, and recommendations to guide decision-making.
