About the Role
Serves as first level (Front Line) manager of assigned workforce within the ATO, Technical Operations District Office. Reports directly to the District Manager/Technical Services Manager within a Service Area.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent implements national level requirements for programs such as acquisition/procurement, material, training/certification, physical security, and environment/safety.
- →Maintains, analyzes, and reports information relied on by managers to efficiently manage the organization.
- →Defines and acquires resources necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Technical Operations organization.
- →Participates in planning and executing organizational goals using sound management principles in order to accomplish mission objectives.
- →Work includes a mixture of routine and complex projects/programs based on the objectives.
- →Managerial duties includes planning; communicating the organization's vision and objectives; setting priorities; assigning tasks and responsibilities; monitoring and evaluating performance; coaching and developing employee capabilities; approving leave; and taking, recommending or approving corrective/disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- →Applies advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed (e.g., budget, human resources, training, logistics, and other administrative policies and procedures).
- →Defines and acquires resources necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Technical Operations organization.
- →Participates in planning and executing organizational goals using sound management principles in order to accomplish mission objectives.

- →Manages budget and either reallocates resources among organizational units/ projects/programs or requests additional resources, as needed.
- →May perform critical aspects of the budget planning process, including projecting short-term and long-term future needs and justifying resource requirements.
