What You'll Do
- →Serves as an Operations Manager for Federal Prison Industries, Inc.
- →(UNICOR), a wholly owned federal Government Operation.
- →This position will provide administration and supervisory oversight for several factories.
- →Each Operations Manager will be responsible for the industrial and quality operations at 2 or more facilities as designated by the Business Group's General Manager or Department Branch Chief as assigned.
- →Integrates the functional areas of Federal Prison Industries (FPI) as they relate to UNICOR products and their customers.
- →Manages the planning, administration, supervision, review and evaluation of an extremely varied combination of performance objectives to meet the customers' requirement.
- →Facilitates conformance of all functional areas to established requirements which enable FPI to meet the end users' delivery.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff's correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
