You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Aircraft Carrier Program Office (PMS 312) of DPAE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for overall management and guidance in balancing the many factors required to establish program priorities, milestones and strategic goals.
- →You will manage the acquisition of program requirements and engage other program/project managers and competencies in defining the scope, cost, schedule, and highly technical facets of planning and executing a Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH).
- →You will serve as primary liaison that interfaces with the Resource Sponsor, Navy Comptroller, DASN, Naval Reactors, Newport News Shipbuilding, PARMs and the Contracts Directorate to ensure programmatic issues are addressed at appropriate levels.
- →You will approve the RCOH Availability Work Package balancing Fleet requirements while staying within budget.
- →Approves changes to the AWP for growth work or requirement changes while maintaining the current contract cost and program budget.
- →You will develop planning documents, coordinate contract strategies, develop IPPD processes to develop and ‘right size’ the AWP, leads program contracting efforts with contracts directorate and performs all financial management for the RCOH program.
- →You will manage and monitor RCOH cost and schedule performance through regular cost Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), program reviews and shipyard visits and adjust funding and work package to stay within cost and schedule.
- →You will resolve CVN technical and programmatic issues pertaining to the RCOH program, using all available resources.
- →You will prepare internal and external correspondence pertaining to the RCOH program to communicate program requirements and to manage projects: plan of Action and Milestones, financial management plan, contract documentation, workforce, etc.
- →You will be independently responsible for developing, implementing and completing all program, financial, contract and technical issues for the RCOH period.
- →You will develop and maintain RCOH monthly metrics, Carrier dashboards and reports to clearly convey program funding status, technical risks and schedule assessments.
