About the Role
The position(s) covered by this vacancy announcement is in the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). For more information see: AcqDemo Position serves as the Program Manager in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Establishes program objectives, makes recommendations, planning milestone dates, tracking the processes and costs throughout the life-cycle of the program.
What You'll Do
- →This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- →As a Program Manager at the NH-0340-4 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves at the Program Manager (PM) for the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA) to include the Missile Defense Space Center, Satellite Operations Center (SOC) and Test and Integration Lab (TIL) at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC).
- →Will serve as the Program Manager for the Organic Ground Entry Point contract and other space-ground communication efforts.
- →Act as the responsible authority for the end-to-end execution, integration, delivery, and demonstration of space capabilities, such as satellites and ground systems, ensuring programs meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
- →MDSEA is the critical ground command control system enabling MDA's space operations.
