What You'll Do
- →Leads multi-functional Program Support Team including, but not limited to, Engineers, Quality Assurance Specialists, Industrial Specialists, Software Specialists and Contracting personnel.
- →Represents the Contact Management Office (CMO) as the single point of contact to the Buying Command for complex complete major weapons systems, defined as Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
- →Collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and synopsizes functional specialist inputs; provides an integrated DCMA assessment of the contractor's program performance as well as a forecast for future programmatic efforts.
- →Requires frequent contact with the Buying Command Program Manager and technical staff in order to resolve unprecedented and/or controversial issues; is engaged at all critical phases of the program life-cycle.
- →Serves as principal civilian technical advisor to the CMO Commander on matters relating to management of the program.
- →Provides expert technical and programmatic advice and direction to Supporting Program Integrators at other CMOs.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
